Together with The Simon Foundation, MERS Goodwill is able to provide various services in order to help you find and keep a job. Some of the ways MERS staff can help is through:
One-On-One Support
An Employment Specialist will work with you one-on-one to help you reach your goals.
Resume Development
Helpful tips, feedback, and support with creating and tailoring your resume.
Interview Support
Support with preparing for interviews and guidance on appropriate follow up after.
Safety Planning
Identifying options and strategizing on how to stay safe.
Resources
Referrals and connection to various resources as appropriate and necessary.
Application Support
Assistance identifying job leads and tips and pointers on submitting applications.
Cover Letters
Support and guidance on cover letters to accompany your resume.
Retention Support
Once you start a job, continued support for the first 90+ days to make sure it's a good match.
Work Uniforms
Assistance in obtaining any work uniforms and/or clothing needed for employment.
Transportation Assistance
While you are looking for a job, staff can meet in a more convenient location or transport to and from meetings.
Proudly Partnering with St. Louis Survivors
St. Louis Survivors Legal Support (SLSLS) provides free legal assistance, such as petitioning for protective orders, to St. Louis County residents. If residing in St. Louis City, SLSLS may be able to advise, but will not be able to provide representation.
