Staff Accountant 

  • Location: St. Louis City, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Invoice preparation and processing, including document maintenance and monthly account reconciliation. Respond to financial transaction inquires for the agency’s internal and external customers. Input vendor invoices in accounting software. General ledger maintenance and provides assistance with monthly end closing. 
  • Qualifications: BS/BA in related field with two years experience preferred.

Services for Individuals with Disabilities

Coordinator

  • Location/Program: St. Louis City, Aftergut Center; Discovery and Exploration Services
  • Duties: Supervise Supported Employment and Transition staff in Discovery and Exploration Services, also providing D&E and Evaluation/Plan Development services directly. Supervision includes monitoring the flow of referrals and quality of services provided in the programs, maintaining relationships with referral and funding sources, and attending to revenue and expenses generated.
  • Qualifications: MS/MA in Rehabilitation Counseling or Social Work preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or Veteran’s on employment goals required. Supervisory and leadership abilities, as well as written and verbal communication skills required.

Assistant Coordinator

  • Location: St. Louis County, Lippman Center
  • Duties: Assist Job Coach Coordinator with scheduling and flow of coaches. Maintain written and verbal communication with referral sources and referring developers. Maintain accurate and timely billing of services.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency is required. BS/BA in related field preferred.

Retention Specialist

  • Location: St. Louis County, Lippman Center; St. Louis City, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Assist consumers with maintaining employment commensurate with their interest, abilities, and support needs. Facilitate and maintain ongoing communication with client and employer. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills requires; current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and independent transportation required.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. BS/BA in related field preferred

Employment Specialist

  • Location: Lippman Center and North Rehab Office, St. Louis County; Aftergut Center, St. Louis City
  • Duties: Help individuals with disabilities obtain employment based on their interest, abilities, and support needs. Maintain current knowledge of the job market, local employers, and have an understanding of the individual’s limitations. Also required to communicate regularly with referral sources and maintain consumer files.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required, BS/BA in related field preferred.

Job Coach

  • Location: Metro St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles, MO area
  • Duties: Assist individuals to maintain employment commensurate with their social, psychological, and medical needs and abilities; assist employers to facilitate the successful employment of people with disabilities. Job Coach will provide training and assistance to persons with disabilities to help them maintain competitive employment.
  • Qualification: High School degree and experience in social service required. Bachelor’s degree and experience in supervising people and working with people with disabilities preferred. Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and independent transportation required.

Workforce Development Services

Case Manager- OJT Navigator

  • Location/Program: Southwest Region NGCC
  • Duties: Position will be dedicated to working with dislocated workers and matching them to available work based learning programs. Work with State OJT staff to connect qualified job seekers to work based learning opportunities and provide system feedback to dislocated worker needs.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. Must be able to travel locally as well as overnight for training.

Home Visitors- Temporary Positions

  • Location: Camden, Laclede, MO & surrounding areas; Rolla, MO & surrounding areas; Arnold, MO; Washington, MO
  • Duties: Visit homes of low income families receiving public assistance.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required, BS/BA preferred. Must have reliable transportation, current Driver’s license and car insurance.

Employment Specialist- Veteran Services

  • Location: St. Louis City, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Help veterans obtain employment based on their interest, abilities, and support needs. Maintain current knowledge of the job market, local employers, and have an understanding of the individual’s limitations. Also required to communicate regularly with referral sources and maintain consumer files
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required, BS/BA in related field preferred.

 Job Exploration Specialist

  • Location: South County Rehab Office; St. Charles Rehab Office
  • Duties: Assist consumers with determining employment objectives. Develop relationships with area employers for job site assessments and informational interviews.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. BA/BS in related field with experience working in Social Services preferred.

Case Manager

  • Location: Cape Girardeau, MO MWA
  • Duties: Assist individuals to pursue and achieve educational and employment goals. Maintain working knowledge of community resources, document all activities in state system, and problem solve with participants to resolve barriers to employment.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. BA/BS in related field with experience working in Social Services preferred.

Other Services

Coordinator

  • Location: Jackson/Perry/Jefferson Counties, IL WIA Youth
  • Duties: Supervise WIA Youth program, including monitoring timeliness of enrollments, quality of services provided, attending to expense and revenue generated, etc. This position with also carry a caseload.
  • Qualifications: BA/BS in related field with experience working in Social Services preferred.

Case Manager

Lead Security Monitor- Overnight Shift

  • Location: St. Louis City, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Provide oversight of overnight shift, ensuring shift duties are performed in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Communicate concerns regularly with Security Monitor Supervisor and Program Directors. Process subsistence payments. Review logs and Safe Keep entries for accuracy.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required

 Clerk (Part-time)

  • Location: Cape Girardeau, MO
  • Duties: Review payment requests for accuracy, proper supporting documentation and eligibility for payment.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required with 1+ year’s experience in Accounts Payable, knowledge of government grant accounting preferred.

Security Monitor

  • Location: St. Louis City, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Monitor residential facility to ensure security of residents. Assist residents with daily needs.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency preferred.

Substitute Teacher

  • Location: Imagination Learning Center, Downtown St. Louis
  • Program: Daycare
  • Duties: Cover call in shifts, vacation requests and sick/personal days shifts. Would be working in all ages of classrooms, as temp assistant teacher to provide safe and educational environment to children, assist lead teacher in classroom functions.
  • Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency required.

Retail Stores:

Loss Prevention Greeter

  • 2-3 Positions available
  • Assist Loss Prevention with securing assets at stores. Primary function is to be highly visible at checkout, checking receipts, deterring thefts, and protecting agency assets.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. Prior retail, military, or customer service experience preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Truck Diver

  • Drivers will be home every night (excluding special trips)
  • Standard hours are between 7AM and 6PM
