Staff Accountant

  • Location: St. Louis city, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Invoice preparation and processing, including document maintenance and monthly account reconciliation. Respond to financial transaction inquires for the agency’s internal and external customers. Input vendor invoices in accounting software. General ledger maintenance and provides assistance with monthly end closing.
  • Qualifications: BS/BA in related field with two years experience preferred.

Accounting Manager/Comptroller

  • Location: St. Louis city, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Responsible for the coordination of all accounting transactions cycles, monthly account reconciliation to general ledger, monthly financial statement preparation, assist in the annual budget process and oversees completion of year end audit annually with external auditors. Manage, coordinate and verify supporting documentation to insure accurate and timely month end reporting.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, with a major in accounting, 3-years public accounting experience and a CPA.

  • Location:  Belleville, IL, Metro East Career Center
  • Duties: Assist consumers with maintaining employment commensurate with their interest, abilities, and support needs. Facilitate and maintain ongoing communication with client and employer. Job Coach

  • Location: Metro St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles, MO area; Metro East, IL area
  • Duties: Assist individuals to maintain employment commensurate with their social, psychological, and medical needs and abilities; assist employers to facilitate the successful employment of people with disabilities. Job Coach will provide training and assistance to persons with disabilities to help them maintain competitive employment.
  • Qualification: High School degree and experience in social service required. Bachelor’s degree and experience in supervising people and working with people with disabilities preferred. Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and independent transportation required.

Workforce Development Services

Director- WIA Youth/ YouthBuild

  • Location: St. Louis city; Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Supervise WIA Youth-related services. Monitor the flow of referrals and enrollments, the quality of services provided in the programs to ensure that contract outcome expectations are met. Maintain relationships with referral and funding sources and attend to revenue and expenses generated by the program. The position will also include direct service duties with an active caseload when appropriate/needed.

Recruiter

  • Location: St. Louis city, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Recruitment of youth with interests matching program goals, provide support in obtaining eligibility documentation, provide job readiness training and related activities to prepare youth for participation in program
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. BA/BS in related field with experience working in Social Services preferred. Experience working with youth preferred.

Youth Case Manager (Temporary Position)

  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. BA/BS in related field with experience working in Social Services preferred.

Part-time Administrative Assistant 

  • Location: St. Charles Career Center
  • Duties: General office work. Answering phones, greeting and directing customers.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required.

Case Manager- State Halfway House

  • Location: St. Louis City, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Assist adult female ex-offenders in residential setting to meet reentry needs. Maintain working knowledge of community resources, document and verify all activities, and provide assistance in crisis situations. Maintain strong working relationship with Probation and Parole. Available for 24-hour on-call assistance.
  • Qualifications: BS/BA in Social Services, Criminal Justice, Counseling or related field required.

Coordinator- Federal Halfway House

  • Location: St. Louis city, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Job requires field work, with weekly visits to clients’ home and job. Conduct weekly Life Skills and Transition Skills classes. Prepare and maintain required logs and reports. Maintain knowledge of community resources.
  • Qualifications: BS/BA in related field required. Experience working in social services a plus

Supervisor

  • Location/Program: Outlet Center, St. Louis City/ Computer Works program
  • Duties: Supervisor individuals in the Computer Works program.
  • Qualifications: High or equivalency required. Experience working in Social Services and working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Must have truck driving experience.

Security Monitor

  • Location: St. Louis City, Aftergut Center
  • Duties: Monitor residential facility to ensure security of residents. Assist residents with daily needs.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency preferred.

Substitute Teacher

  • Location: Imagination Learning Center, Downtown St. Louis
  • Program: Daycare
  • Duties: Cover call in shifts, vacation requests and sick/personal days shifts. Would be working in all ages of classrooms, as temp assistant teacher to provide safe and educational environment to children, assist lead teacher in classroom functions.
  • Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency required.

Retail Stores:

Loss Prevention Greeter

  • 2-3 Positions available
  • Assist Loss Prevention with securing assets at stores. Primary function is to be highly visible at checkout, checking receipts, deterring thefts, and protecting agency assets.
  • Qualifications: High School or equivalency required. Prior retail, military, or customer service experience preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Truck Diver

  • Drivers will be home every night (excluding special trips)
